I'm a Hypocrite ⇒

July 5th, 2017 by with

Today I realized I’m a huge hypocrite, and it’s not helping my youngest child.

Coming home today, I learned about a smart phone challenge they did on one of my favourite podcasts, Note to Self. The two goal of this challenge were, to get people to realize how much they used their phone, and to help them reduce that dependency.

Trying out Postach.io! ⇒

May 17th, 2013 by

I am a huge fan of owning my own data and even went so far as to write my own wordpress plugin to export my posts to dropbox for safe keeping. With Postachio I can write a blog post, in Markdown even, in Evernote, from any of my devices and when I'm ready to publish, just add a tag 'published'. So awesome!!

Who says an old dog can’t learn new tricks ⇒

June 8th, 2010 by

Erin, yes I am referring to him as “the old dog”, is learning a new trick. He is changing his ways. He is choosing to eat a piece of fruit instead of ice cream. He is choosing to do something productive, like small home projects, instead of watching TV. He is choosing to go to bed early instead of staying up late surfing the web. He has accepted that he is a food snob and can no longer eat food that is salty, processed crap.

I’m proud of you, Old Dog! You are an inspiration.
